I haven't been active on here in several years.  I know most people who still watch me may not even use this website anymore, and I haven't communicated with anyone on here for a very long time.  Part of the reason that this happened is because I've been extremely busy with my university studies, and caught up in working on traditional painting and drawing rather than digital art.  I think I've improved a lot since my teenage years when I used to post on this website.  Although before this point, I always liked to keep this account because I believed that my old works would only show how much I've progressed, I now feel embarrassed of the majority of the works that have been posted on this account.  Not because I regret making them, but because I'm ashamed of their immaturity and demonstration of what little I understood about art at the time.  Not that I've become a pro in the meantime, but the things I have learned make it hard for me to look back on my old stuff without cringing.

That being said, lately I've felt a longing to share my work with others again.  I miss the experience of receiving random (if sparse) comments and the feeling of recognition that I got from people fav-ing my art. 

I know that I never had a particularly large audience, but if any of you are reading this and are interested to see what I'm doing now, I just made a new account here on deviantArt.  You can find it here: fieroh.deviantart.com/

With any luck, I'll be able to maintain an active status over there.  I will leave this account here and may log into it every now and then, but I don't plan to post anything else to this account in the future.  Thank you to everyone who ever supported me and encouraged me here on deviantArt.  I hope the future finds you well.

I feel like I only make journals here on Christmas...  Anyhow, hope everyone is enjoying the holidays this year.  Much thanks to the people that still notice when I upload stuff, as infrequently as that occurs.  I really do appreciate it.  ~  

I've been rather busy with university lately, and last semester was particularly difficult.  It's nice to have a bit of a break for the first time in several months...  recently I've been having some minor health problems too which is really annoying.  I ended up spraining a wrist doing martial arts and then I ended up getting foot warts somehow which I still need to go get removed.  I got a shiny new laptop for Christmas though, so at least there's that.

Merry Christmas to everyone!~  Sorry I didn't get the chance to do a holiday-themed drawing this year (unless I do a belated one but y'know) but hopefully I'll be able to do a lot more stuff in the future.  I got Manga Studio 5 for Christmas so I'm super excited to start working with it.  C:  

Well it's been quite hectic these past few months, but finally the end is in sight.  Christmas break is coming up, and I don't think I could possibly be more ready for it to come.  I really, really need to go home right now.  Italy is great and everything, but I'm really missing my country right now, as screwed up as it is, and I've had just about all I can take of schoolwork and stressful travelling schedules.  I've had to pack and unpack bags twice already just in the past week or two.  

I will be studying abroad this semester so my activity will probably be even lower than it has been recently.  However, I will attempt to work on my art whenever I have free time, and I'll make the best effort to post a few quality artworks over the next few months.  Thanks to those that continue to follow my work.
